Auto-Trade

From Pick to Position

When a model pick goes live, Auto-Trade places one disciplined, price-bounded order on your own trading account — then shows you exactly what it did and why.

The hardest part of following a model is not the model. It is the gap between a pick surfacing and you seeing it — the edge decays while you are asleep, at work, or just away from the screen. Auto-Trade closes that gap: it watches the pick feed continuously and executes on your behalf, under limits you set, on an account you control.

It is deliberately boring by design. No martingale, no chasing, no discretion. One order per pick, at your size, inside your price band, or nothing at all. Every action — including every time it chose not to trade — is written to an activity log you can read.

Set It Up — Three Steps

  1. 1Create your trading walletAccount menu (top right) → Automation. The panel opens as a numbered checklist; press Create trading wallet. Copy the private key it shows you and store it somewhere safe, then press “I saved it — enroll”. The wallet is not active until you do, and it stays on screen (even across refreshes) until you enroll or discard it. Lost the backup later? Recover signer key under Wallet → Advanced asks for your Optiqal password and reveals it for two minutes.
  2. 2Add funds — USDC on PolygonStep 2 shows a deposit address with a copy button. Send USDC on the Polygon network; any Polygon USDC flavor works, and the bot converts it itself. If the step lists “Gas · Nothing to send”, USDC is all you send; if it lists a POL line instead, add about 1 POL for one-time approvals. Balances appear live as they arrive.
  3. 3Set your amount per pick, then turn it onStep 3 is the fixed dollar amount the bot spends on each pick — it saves as you type. Turn on auto-trade stays disabled until all three steps are done. The confirm step restates the worst-case daily spend and the exact execution wallet where positions appear; tick the box to accept it. After that the bot preps the wallet on its own (conversion and trading approvals, usually 2–5 minutes) and trades the next qualifying pick. Pause any time with one click.

The one rule: Polygon network only. Funds sent on Ethereum, Solana, Base, or any other network will not arrive. If your money is on an exchange or another chain, withdraw it choosing Polygon — the network picker is next to the address field.

Where It Works

Automation trades on two exchanges, and where you are decides which one the console sets up. Outside the United States it places orders on Polymarket through a dedicated trading wallet. In the United States, Polymarket itself refuses orders — so US members trade on Polymarket US, the CFTC-regulated exchange, using their own Polymarket US account and an API key (details below).

The console checks your connection for you and shows the right setup on its own — nothing needs to be requested. A region neither exchange serves shows a short notice instead of steps it knows you cannot finish.

In the United States — Polymarket US

Polymarket US is a separate, regulated exchange with its own accounts. The bot trades your Polymarket US account with an API key you create — your money is deposited at Polymarket, held at Polymarket, and withdrawn at Polymarket. Optiqal stores only the key, encrypted, and uses it for one thing: placing your orders.

  1. 1Open a Polymarket US accountSign up in the Polymarket US app or at polymarket.us and pass their identity check. Deposit the amount you want the bot to work with there. Some states restrict sports markets — Polymarket applies those rules at sign-up.
  2. 2Create an API key and connect itAt polymarket.us/developer, create an API key. Copy the Key ID and Secret Key — the secret is shown only once. Paste both under Account → Connections → Polymarket US (or into the Polymarket US step of your Automation console); we verify the key against the venue before saving it.
  3. 3Set your amount per pick, then turn it onSame limits as everywhere else: unit size, daily cap, price band, open-position ceiling. The bot then trades qualifying picks that are listed on Polymarket US.

You can also buy a pick yourself, without the bot. Once your key is connected, every Buy button on a pick card opens a Polymarket US ticket. Type a dollar amount, read the contracts, the venue fee and your worst price, and confirm. The order is placed with your key at that moment, fill-or-kill, and never rests on the book. Nothing is placed on a schedule unless you turn the bot on.

Two honest differences on this exchange. First, not every pick is listed there — only picks with an exact Polymarket US market can trade, so US accounts see fewer orders than the pick feed shows. Second, Polymarket US charges a small taker fee per order (largest near 50¢, shrinking toward the extremes); the bot accounts for it when sizing, and your fills reflect it.

How It Works

Step 1

A pick goes live

A model pick surfaces and locks — the same picks you see on the dashboard, at the same moment. Auto-Trade never gets early access and never trades anything that is not published.

Step 2

A short holding period

The bot deliberately waits a few minutes after a pick locks before acting. Picks are re-verified live at execution time, so a pick that gets pulled during that window is simply never traded.

Step 3

Your filters decide

Venue on? Model allowed? Current market price inside your band? Daily cap and open-position ceiling clear? Your settings apply the moment you change them — if any check fails, the bot skips and logs the reason.

Step 4

One fill-or-kill order

A single order at your unit size, bounded by your worst acceptable price. It fills at your bound or better, or it does not fill at all. No partial chasing, no retries, and a pick can never be traded twice.

Step 5

Everything on the record

Fills, no-fills, and skips all land in your Automation activity feed with timestamps and reasons. If a position is ever unwound by the desk, it is labeled — positions never silently vanish.

Your Guardrails

Nothing about sizing is suggested, defaulted, or nudged. The bot cannot trade until you set an explicit unit size, and arming requires a second confirmation that restates your worst-case daily spend.

Unit size

A fixed dollar amount per pick. Flat staking, every time — the bot never sizes up on “confidence.”

Daily cap

A hard ceiling on total spend per day. Leave it blank and it defaults to 5× your unit. Attempts and unconfirmed orders count against it, so ambiguity can never overspend.

Price band

Never buys below your floor or above your ceiling. The band is checked against the live market at execution time, not at pick time.

Open-position limit

Caps how many unresolved positions the bot may hold at once. Exited and settled positions free up slots.

Pause, instantly

One click stops new orders immediately — even mid-cycle — and keeps all your settings. Stopping is never harder than starting.

One order per pick, ever

Enforced at the database level. A pick that disappears and resurfaces, or a mid-flight retry, can never double an order.

Your Wallet, Your Funds

Your money never touches Optiqal. You create a dedicated trading wallet in your browser, back up its key yourself, and fund it with exactly the amount you want the bot to work with. Positions and proceeds sit in that wallet — yours to withdraw at any time, with or without us. So the bot can trade while your browser is closed, Optiqal keeps an encrypted copy of that wallet's signing key. It can only ever reach this one ring-fenced wallet — never your main wallet — and you can retrieve the key yourself at any time with your account password.

Ring-fenced by design

A separate wallet holding only what you deposit. Your other funds are untouchable — the bot cannot spend money that is not there.

Sealed signing key

The trading key is stored under envelope encryption (AES-256-GCM) and used for one thing: signing your orders. It is never logged, and it is only ever shown back to you — after you confirm your password.

Revocable any time

Revoke (then confirm) deletes our stored key and disarms the bot. Your wallet and its balance are unaffected. Save your key backup first — after a revoke, the wallet can only be reached with it.

Watching it work

  • The Activity feed in your Automation console records every decision — fills, no-fills, and hard skips with the reason. While the bot is simply waiting (no qualifying pick, wallet still preparing) the feed stays quiet on purpose: no news is “nothing to act on yet.”
  • The terminal has an AUTOMATION tab (next to CALENDAR / LIVE EDGE / ARBITRAGE) with your live status, limits, recent decisions, and one-tap Pause.
  • Your trading wallet is a public Polymarket account: use the Open profile link on the Wallet row (the “Positions appear here” address) to see every position and trade on the venue itself, any time, no login needed.
  • The Wallet row shows the wallet's live on-chain balances — deposits appear there within a minute or two of sending.

What It Will Never Do

  • Place an order without a price bound — every order is fill-or-kill at your limit.
  • Chase a miss. If the book moves away from your price, the answer is a logged skip, not a worse fill.
  • Trade the same pick twice, under any circumstances.
  • Exceed your daily cap or open-position limit — ambiguous orders count as spent until proven otherwise.
  • Size up, double down, or deviate from your flat unit.
  • Trade a pick that was pulled before the holding period ended.

Regions & Checks

The international exchange does not accept orders from every region. Check this before you fund anything: the Automation console warns you on the spot if your current location cannot arm that rail, and arming it is refused from a blocked region. US members are routed to Polymarket US instead (above), where eligibility is handled by the venue's own account rules.

On the international rail, your location is re-verified when you arm and again every 30 days (the console shows the days remaining and a one-click renewal). If a check lapses or places you somewhere blocked, the bot stops opening new positions and says so — your wallet, balance, and settings stay exactly as they were.

Rollout & The Fine Print

Auto-Trade is rolling out gradually. It currently executes Oracle picks on Polymarket — other models show as “soon” in the console and cannot be armed until their venue matching clears live validation. The console lives in your account menu under Automation (plus the terminal's AUTOMATION tab) once it is enabled for your account.

Real-money execution carries real risk. Model performance is published and honest — and it includes losing stretches. Fund the trading wallet only with money you are prepared to lose, start with a small unit, and read your activity feed. Auto-Trade executes a strategy; it does not guarantee one.
